Checking In - 2020 is Bad

Seriously. We are bad at this. And we're sorry.

Just the other day, Becca sent me a picture of a book she saw called So You Want To Start A Podcast by Kristen Meinzer. We can make all the excuses we want, about work, school, family... coronavirus...

But at the end of the day, The History Chicks are well established in their podcast methodologies to be sure, but at the same time, I'm pretty sure there were some adjustments to be made during this crazy year.

We should too. We can do this. I think part of the problem too is that we haven't really focused on where we want to start. There are so many different topics we both enjoy immensely and could go on for hours ad nauseum. It's just deciding where to start. We will surely get to them all eventually, and we haven't forgotten this project.

And although we don't have any followers here yet, I mean let's be honest. Very few people know about this project in the first place. But having a record of the earliest days should be helpful in getting our butts in gear.

Until next time,

Stay Quirky.

Not Forgotten

Although it has been just shy of a year since we published our first post, we haven't forgotten about this project. As anyone in retail or school knows, time is finite and fleeting. Plus a girl's gotta pay bills, y'all.

I've been working a new job for about three weeks now and start a second one tomorrow, along with the jobs of wife and mother. Becca's also working two jobs and is finishing up that degree. But you can best believe the podcast is still in the back of our minds.

We return you to your regularly scheduled programming...

The Feminine Quirk Blog is Building

Hello there! Welcome to The Feminine Quirk!

Our blog is not quite live, yet it is up and ready for us to begin recording our podcast. We just have to get equipment, software, and of course our topics researched. We're hard at work researching how we want to record, and our first couple of topics.

What I love about Blogger is the ease with which I can create a blog with pages and links. We'll soon have content, just bear with our dust please.

Also, we're looking for someone willing to donate time and talent to create a logo for our site. The cute little furball is simply a placeholder. And as cute as he is, we really need a logo. If interested, use the contact form on the sidebar. Thanks in advance!
